I analyze your best colors to bring out your own personal glow.

Today, Glowing Color features Kit. Kit writes,

I just found your blog this morning and I am totally addicted already.  I have been on a quest for over a year hoping to identify my color.  I have “tried on” every season and still feel lost.  I’m getting older (will be 60 next month!) and I just can no longer see myself or identify what I look good in.  I need help!
I would be most interested in learning from you the services you offer and their rates.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Your new reader and fan,
About Kit: “I live in Los Angeles and have been married for over 20 years.  I love to draw and paint, read cookbooks and healthy living blogs.  I am mostly vegetarian but do enjoy occasional seafood and chicken.  My husband retires in less than three years and we will be moving from Los Angeles to a much smaller market.  We are both very excited about that and right now feel a little like we are living in limbo because we are ready for the next chapter in our lives but it isn’t quite time.”

Kit’s Color Interview:

What color(s) do you wear the most? My default colors are blue, gray, and white.

What color(s) do you wear the least? Orange.

In what color(s) do you feel sexy and/or beautiful? Navy or white.

In what color(s) do you receive compliments? Blue.

Keep in mind Kit’s natural hair color is a medium-dark brown. Kit in cooler colors:

Kit in warmer colors:

Kit is a Winter. Kit has been favoring cooler colors in her wardrobe, particularly blue. She instinctively gravitated toward the colors in her season! She wrote about her hair color feeling off, which makes sense because it is a warm brown with golden highlights. She definitely needs to go cooler with her hair, which will also set off her gorgeous eyes.

  1. LOVE that fuschia!! I gotta say i LOVE that the readers really been going hard for the natural light-color against the face pics It REALLY DOES HELP TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE! Weee

    • YES! I’ve been loving this format for pictures and it’s fun for them to do with all the different colors too.

  2. Wow..I am so happy that I found your blog and had you read my colors. I was identified 30 years ago as a winter when seasonal color analysis was really popular. I stayed true to those colors for over a decade until a hair stylist talked me into warm highlights. That was the beginning of “heading down the wrong path.” I have been feeling that clear saturated colors were better for me as pastels were not working, especially the dusty ones even if they were cool. I highly recommend your analysis to anyone who reads your blog. The additional service of the shopping list, color tips and personal Power Color was a great bonus. You are a jewel. I agree with some of your other clients. This was a bargain at twice the price. Now I can’t wait to go shopping! :)) I will keep in touch and let you see my progress, especially with my hair. Thanks, Tamara

    • Thank you so much for the kind words! I am so glad you loved the consult. E-mail me anytime!

  3. You make everyone with cool coloring a winter! She looks like a summer to me.

    • Thanks for your feedback! I have done several Summer analyses, some of which you can see by clicking the “Summer” category tag. Kit is not a Summer, as you can see the difference between the bolder bright cool colors and the pastels. Her face is much more vibrant with the Winter colors.
